What happened to your favourite teddy?

My Dad recently found his first teddy (a 60 year old bear with no eyes and no fur) and that got me thinking about Lenny…

I have always loved soft toys.  When I was little my bed was always full of them and now my daughter is following in my footsteps.

First TeddyMy favourite teddy was a lion called Lenny.  He literally went everywhere with me and I couldn’t sleep without him.  It didnt matter that his head was too big and his tail was always falling off.

After leaving home Lenny stayed at my Mums. That was until recently when my daughter decided to adopt him.  He is now one of the select few that sleep by her pillow rather than just at the foot of the bed (he obviously shares this space with a few Moulin Roty soft toys!)

I love that she loves Lenny just as much as I did. He may not be looking his best (although at least he still has his tail) but he is well loved and well travelled and that can’t be bad.
